Hayley was elected to staff governor due to her commitment to being an excellent role model for students and staff. Hayley has worked within the education sector for over a decade, often supporting children and young people with special educational needs and/or, with English as their second language. This wealth of experience allowed Hayley to consider where there existed, a need for student support, and Hayley made the decision to train to become a Reading and Phonics Lead. First through self development, and then through specialist training and a HLTA course, Hayley took on the role with ambition and passion, making the role her own.
Hayley has developed a legacy of amazing outcomes, supporting a range of children to meet, and often, exceed their reading and phonics goals, develop confidence and resilience, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
